a web site about some of my ancestors

Not too detailed for modern relatives, and includes some mid-20th century photos of small town Texas. Most inBlack&white, with a few in color.

My Ancestors

Oh, and two photos of the Telstar inflated dome in Maine in 1966.

Re: a web site about some of my ancestors

Cool photos :-) I am a sucker for personal histories, so that was fun to browse. It’s hard to imagine any pool water being cold enough during such hot summer weather, too. Thanks for sharing, Jim.

Re: a web site about some of my ancestors

The water came from an artesian well, the water came from deep underground.

Re: a web site about some of my ancestors

I have added a number of photos, July 4th parade, 1966. No menu item yet to see a list of all of them.

Some of the photos are cropped, but I had to sometimes cut off half the photo due to other people steeping between me and the parade.

Re: a web site about some of my ancestors

Updated the menu at the top of the site so you can find the Pictures better for:

34 photos of the 1966 July 4 parade

4 photos of the 1957 flood.

2 photos of the inflatable dome in Maine for Telstar and Project Echo. First satellite up/down link for telephone calls.
