[SOLVED] cannot write to files or tmp directory
On a Dreamhost hosting, after a upgrade (from 4.0.1) to the last release
I have those warning :
Warning: cannot write to file directory
/home/.angelika/babyservice/baby-service.be/files/.On Filezilla, the files directory has correct rights (777), same as “images”.
Diagnostic :
File directory path is not writable: /home/.angelika/babyservice/baby-service.be/files/
Temporary directory path is not writable: /home/.angelika/babyservice/baby-service.be/textpattern/tmp No problem with “images” (same rights, same properties in filezilla).
Impossible to upload files …
How correct this ?
[SOLVED] : the “.angelika” part of the 2 paths must be removed.

I think the ‘correct’ rights should be 755

another try then – as I’m not sure what the .angelika is:)
If you go to preferences > advanced
what happens if you change the path to
/home/.angelika/babyservice/baby-service.be/files without the end slash or to
/home/babyservice/baby-service.be/files without the end slash and the .angelika

All is OK now.
I don’t know why the “.angelika” part of the path is there (and in the tmp path)
this part must be removed ….
