Can't get mobile plugins to work
Hi, not sure if this should be posted here or in the Plugins section, but…
I’m trying to serve some slightly different content to mobiles (just less js etc), but for the life of me I can’t get it to work. I’ve tried adi_mobile, pro_mobile and act_if_mobile (so far) and none are working.
I’m clearly doing something wrong; but saying that, none of the above plugins have live demos to check other than adi_mobile (http://www.greatoceanmedia.com.au/mobiletest), and even that doesn’t work for me. I get the ‘You’re not a mobile’ message when I view with an iPad and with an Android mobile, and when I do the Fake It test examples given on the website.
Any ideas what I’m doing wrong, I’m guessing the above test page works for other people?
Thanks for any help…

Re: Can't get mobile plugins to work
Just an update; I have viewed the site now with an iPhone and it does seem to pick up that (and the viewport etc) so perhaps the issue is with Android itself and the code I used does work. I just can’t tell.
Has anyone else used any of the plugins listed above successfully on Android?
Thanks all

Hi Stu,
You might get a quicker answer if you asked the question in the plugin thread

Thanks Yiannis, I did wonder. I’ve asked now.

In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

Re: Can't get mobile plugins to work
Yeah… I didn’t ask on that thread on purpose as I was asking in general and not specifically that plugin. I mentioned three plugins so thought it better to go more generic. Never mind though.
