hak_tinymce installed, not visible

I am unable to see/use the tinymce editor on article posts. Therefore I am unable to insert links when pasting articles, or even insert one rather.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled hak_tinymce a few times, played with the options and help file here: http://textpattern.org/plugins/505/hak_tinymce

Any tips that I can try to get the tinymce viewable/useable in the article editor?

I am running 4.4.1

Just a quick belts and braces check. I’m assuming that you went through the install process in the Extensions tab after you enabled the plugin? Also did you change the set the Use Textile option in Preferences to ‘Leave text untouched’? If you had any articles before the plugin was installed you’ll have to set them to ‘Leave text untouched’ on a case by case bases in the Write tab before the editor will appear.

If you did all of the above make sure to double check your path to the tinymce files preference on the Extensions tab. I often found tweaking this made the editor appear.

I had to re-upload the plugin. that’s what I didn’t do!
