use commenting engine for engagement tools?
i’d like to try some alternative forms of commenting, like polls and fill in the blanks. these would be created on the fly based on the content that’s in the article.
would it be smart to use the textpattern commenting engine in order to post the comments, or should i be looking into writing my own php script and insert that in the tail after the post is finished using <txp:php> ?
also has anyone used facebook connect to authenticate users on the built-in textpattern commenting engine?
