Can a blogger theme easily be converted to a textpattern theme
Hello,
I found this blogger template : http://btemplates.com/2011/blogger-template-diarynotebook/demo/
Now I wonder if this theme easily be converted to a textpattern theme.

Don’t be disappointed, because the answer isn’t a simple yes or no.
It really depends on (1) whether you have access to all of the imagery, CSS and associated elements and then (2) how much time you want to spend on implementing it as a theme. The harder part is identifying how much of the functionality of the theme can be delivered with core TxP functionality, and then identifying plugins to use for the remainder eg. I note that there is a twitter feed there. There is an introduction to creating themes.
I haven’t used any themes myself, preferring to create my own sites by hand from scratch (not that I’m criticising anyone who does use themes). But looking at some of the resources, I would say the answer varies from “easy” (if you are comfortable with XHTML, CSS, TxP tags and TxP plugins) through to “hard” (if you’re new to all of this).

Re: Can a blogger theme easily be converted to a textpattern theme
Oke,
I have all the parts of the theme. I also have it now with only the html tags and no blogger tags.
As I look I only need a plugin which can give me this output :
year
month1
month2
year 2
month 1
month2
But I think there will be a archive plugin which can do it.
Im famialer with txp theming. The site is now running on TXP with another layout.
I wish I could make my own themes but the knowlegde is lacking.
