Example sites on textpattern.com homepage
Hi,
I spoke about this a bit when I met Bloke the other day in London, but it may be nice to update (or at least add to) the example sites on the Textpattern homepage, and maybe give that section a bit more prominence (the link is a bit buried in the sidebar). When new potential users come to the site, seeing solid sites powered by the CMS may be the defining choice between whether they try the software out or move on.
The Rissington Podcast has not been active for over two years, for example.
I’m sure there would be many designers/developers here on the forums only too happy to have their work showcased, so it’s a shame this feature is not utilised a bit better.

Exactly, so instead of being buried in the forum where only existing users go they could have pride of place on the homepage.
Does anyone know who runs (or has admin access to) the Textpattern.com site?

We (devs) do. But there’s more news afoot in this regard, and as soon as I get my butt round to blogging about it — along with finishing the article on the London meet — things will become clearer on this front. Please hold. An operator will be with you shortly.
(hopefully it’ll get done tonight if I can clear a bug down that I promised someone I’d chase)
