upm_image sorting

is there a way to sort images so the newest image shows up first instead of last? i looked at the a past posting (
http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?pid=197471) and it said you could sort by date but it didn’t say how. a example would be very much appreciated. thanks.

I’d try sort="date desc", looks so brazen familiar.

Why you need upm_image? You can make it with <txp:images /> and the attribute “sort”, just as uli wrote.
