Events in Textpattern

Hi guys,

How are you all handling events in txp? I’d like to have a system where I can post new events that are then displayed in chronological order and possibly linked to a calendar. Has anyone had any experience with stuff like this before?

Hi adamr

I believe TXPBuilders have some experience in this kind of event-scheduling app.

In the meantime smd_calendar is probably your best first port-of-call.

Cheers Steve. I’d already had a look at smd_calendar which looks fantastic and I have no doubt has the functionality for what I want, but it seemed almost too feature rich and not too easy to implement quickly. I’ll go back and have another look, it may just be the way forward.
