I myslef am in the need of using hak_tinymce with not iFrames, but with a couple Tetxpattern plugins. Jakob was kind enough to point me to your entry, as well as provide some direction: http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?pid=248143#p248143
Hope your project goes well and I will let you know if I find out more as I continue with this aprt of my project.
