forum

We had this discussion a number of times before but we never had any automated suggestions. 10 questions to choose a forum software comes up with fudforum. As I never used it I’m not sure of its advantages and disadvantages. Also with somebody else answering the questions the suggestion may differ. What do you think?

Re: forum

I used to run v1 of Vanilla for a podcasting forum and it was excellent. The best part was seamless integration with MediaWiki, which in turn led to increased awareness of the associated wiki, and a better UX for all concerned. I am not entirely sold on the benefits of Vanilla v2, there does appear to be less control, but I haven’t used it in anger.
