Should requesting changes to language files be submitted as patches?
While working on a plugin for a gentleman of the forum here it was pointed out to me that the case usage in the privileges drop-down on the users tab was inconsistent. In view of the fact that language files are updated independently of the core code I’m wondering if a system patch would be appropriate, or simply a post here on the forum?
In any case, the odd bit happens this way:
Publisher
Managing Editor
Copy Editor
Staff writer ??
Freelancer
Designer
This is present in both the default en-gb.txt file, and en-us and en-gb when installed. A/O June 11 update 2011
I guess dealing with case sensitivity inside a plugin is simple enough and it is cosmetic otherwise, but still, it looks a bit odd.

Nah, fixed in en-gb and en-us. Update your languages to pull down the changes. Well spotted. I’ve been playing with privs heavily for the past two days and not noticed that, thanks!

Same for “Override form” (“Write” tab > Advanced Options)
