[SOLVED] Textpattern image upload question

Hi!

Today I was contacted by the site editor of a Textpattern site I set up. He likes the way you can upload files via FTP and claim them in Textpattern via the “Existing file” dropdown. He wants to do the same thing with images— upload a whole bunch via FTP and then claim them via the Images tab. Is there currently any way to do this, via plugin or otherwise?

What about fpx_image_import? Really old, but works like a charm with 4.4.0.
