Well, a quick fix was to css display none the pre so that the errors don’t show up. One thing is for sure, changing the css in admin did not change it. Only by changing the css file itself would work.
Sorry, I don’t know much about this CMS and wasn’t expecting to have to learn anything!
Thanks for all your help and maybe someone else will pop up to help. It’s 8 pm and I’m quitting for the night too.

That is not exactly a fix ;) Displayed errors or notices at the top of the page often cause the css to falter. It’s better to fix the errors, not hide them.
Sorry, I don’t know much about this CMS and wasn’t expecting to have to learn anything!
Obviously there is some code (Txp tags) in pages or forms that is not the way it should be, hence the errors. If you could post all errors you are getting, we can help you sort them out. A link to the site in question would be helpful too, if possible.
