Features

Replaces the standard Textpattern Visitor Logs with your Piwik Dashboard

Setup

Set the plugin preferences to configure your piwik site id and the url to your piwik installation.

Currently the plugin requires you either be logged into piwik or you allow anonymous view of your piwik data. Information on configuring piwik can be found on the piwik documentation site

Not tried, but… wow! I’ve dreamnt of something similar for ages… My only concerns are about db size of piwikis… but that has nothing to do with your plugin, of course! Thanks!

Matt, that’s a nice addition to our plugin family, and an increase of attractiveness for TXP. Thanks for writing this plugin!

I have installed this plugin, but I do not understand, what I should set into Preference for shown the Piwik-Dashboard in Textpattern.

I have set the Piwik-Number, which my website have in my piwik. and set the link /mysite.de/piwik.php?idsite=#

#=number

In the Advanced Settings I have leave the Module as “Dashboard” and set the AuthToken from Piwik-User below.

But I get an Error and the Piwik-Dashboard dont work. I dont understand, what I can do?

I don’t get a error-line.
Only this:
If I open in my Textpattern Administration – Protokolle, then I see two Buttons Piwik Textpattern. Left of them is a Inline with my website in width about 15em (for screen mobile). on this side instead of normal articles from my websites I get an 404-Error (404 Not Found).
Right of this is empty.

The Button for Textpattern show the standard Textpattern Visitor Logs, that still works.
Piwik work too, but not inside Textpattern.

If I press on Piwik -Button, it only go to the 404-Error in the design of my Website. No other Error-Lines there.

I found now, I have wrote the url in the line “Piwik Site URL” without a http(s)://

Now, with the http:// I get not my website, but the Piwik-Windows inside Textpattern are still empty, doesn’t show a Dashboard from Piwik.

so, the url should have only from http(s)://domaintoyourpiwik.de , without anything after .de!
Now work the plugin. :)

But I am irritated, why the Dashboard is shown only in the width for screen mobile. The window for Dashboard is small not on the full windows of browser. (The browser-windows is normall size, about 900px wide.)

I think the problem is from textpattern.min.css on line 32 (and this is inside for html <div id="widgetIframe"> ):

    min-width: 0;
}

If I set min-width to 100%, so It show full in the browser-windows. But I dont know, what using this .css line too, so I ask here how to solved it.

I use Textpattern 4.6.2

Assuming the layout structure is as follow (I don’t use the plugin, nor Pikwik, so I can’t test more):

<div class="txp-layout">
  <div id="widgetIframe">
    <iframe src="" scrolling="yes" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" width="100%" frameborder="0" height="766"></iframe>
  </div>
</div>

You could add this rule to your custom.css stylesheet

div#widgetIframe { width: 100%;}
