Well, I gave you that link so you can quickly figure out how things work and how you can use them in developing a site, once you’ve discovered them :-)
For example, that resizing of textareas: you can control that from within your stylesheet, or you can also apply the resize property to any element with overflow other than visible.
have fun :-)
Where is that emoji for a solar powered submarine when you need it ?

Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the link, and I’m sure those following this thread do also.

I absolutely dislike the Fx UI (on OS X & Linux)…
I have to admit that’s on of the main reasons I use Google Chrome. It feels more like a Mac app than Firefox.

Firefox 4 is out (if by out you mean available for download unofficially).

Well it’s official now, 4.0 is on the main page for download. With cute cartoon characters representing Team Firefox displaying the total downloads so far (384, 614). Had to use Opera to see the new download me page, cause Firefox 4.0rc2 greeted me with a different page, informing me that I was up to date and a cute bear asking me to spin a wheel.
Yes, it’s like a carnival atmosphere, I can hear the music and the smell of cotton candy :)

Re: Firefox 4.0rc1
Maybe a bit off topic, but for those still using PPC Macs with Tiger (or even 10.5) there’s TenFourFox
Why is this TenFourFox and not Firefox? Because even though it uses the Firefox code base, it’s not Firefox. It uses code tuned for 10.4 (and compatible with 10.5), adds new PowerPC-specific improvements and restores the glue necessary to get most of Firefox 4’s advanced features working on our older computers, offered in separately hand-tuned builds for G3, G4/7400, G4/7450 and G5 processors to get the most from your specific computer.

Re: Firefox 4.0rc1
Is it just me or does firefox 4 really went down chrome’s way and copied how it looks. I know it is not conclusive that they followed the same interface but people could not help but think that way. I do not like firefox’ plug-in container. Yes it was an ingenious idea but failed in execution. Being minimalistic is really beautiful but having a physical tab still helps because the tools there are very significant.

Yes, the default theme does look like chrome, but there are themes available to make Firefox look like any browser. In order to get my wife to start using Firefox, I installed an IE theme, so she could get acclimated slowly into using Firefox. When I installed Firefox 4.0 on her laptop, the IE theme hadn’t been updated to run in 4.0. She was none too pleased at first, asking for me to put 3.6 back on, but she’s grown into the new 4.0 look after a few days of usage.

Re: Firefox 4.0rc1
just installed FF4 on mac. I think that there’s a bug with full screen video. It sometimes just shows a black or white screen and – when escaped – the image remains static. Can someone confirm this?

Re: Firefox 4.0rc1
I see that message about the .net framework every time I update a computer at work – and we have a lot of computers. But frankly, I have no idea what benefit anyone ever got out of it. It just doesn’t make sense to fall behind.
Especially when 5 is in beta and 7 will be out before the end of the year.

Textpattern needs to jump to that train. “Textpattern 11.0 — dramatic visual changes; moved title field 5 pixels up”. (Under the article Go to previous article “TXP 4.4.1 released”).
No, I’m not dissing development of any product, neither Chrome, Firefox or Textpattern. Loving all of em. Just joking about the version number jumps, not that the jumps are not that dramatic.
