Paola de Grenet
A new site for a top European photographer – Paola de Grenet.
Brief was for an easy to update site and automatic image galleries for the various portfolio items. Only one plugin is used on the site – smd_thumbnails – which creates the various thumbnail sizes for the image galleries.

BTW, are the uploaded images about the size of that stacked-books image on the front page? Trying to figure out where exactly smd_thumbnail was used. I’m guessing the gallery images + thumbs are both “thumbnails?”

Nice site! I noticed that if you click PORTFOLIO, you get thumbnails of all galleries except the unlucky 13th, Travel, although this is listed on the left with a little yellow spot next to it. The yellow spot requires very precise clicking too. Also a few photos have got into the wrong galleries, to and from albino section. Is it my eyes or are those medium rather than high resolution photos? If so, I guess one high res photo to show quality might be handy, although I suppose his biography says enough about him.

@Marc – I wrote up how I did the site over here: Galleriffic image gallery without any plugins. There are two smd_thumbnail sizes – small and large. 75×75px and 180×180px. They are used for the Galleriffic thumbnails and for the Portfolio overview page.
@zero – glad you like it. Paola is a nice Italian lady by the way. Travels is as the client wished it to be. I am not so sure about the image quality – that’s also up to the client.

Thanks Arnold. The image is chosen by the client and hosted on Flickr so its possible the image is a little large. Thank you for letting me know.
