Video Gallery with Thumbnails

Hi,

Is it possible to output a video (FLVs) gallery with thumbnails? I have got an image gallery working with hak_article_image and SlidesJS, but not sure which plugin will be ideal to attach multiple FLVs to an article and generate a gallery from that.

Appreciate all help!

Haven’t used it yet, but this looks promising…

(Think it should create thumbnails for your vids.)

Thanks Kim … does sound like the thing to use.

A new layout has cropped up, so instead of the videos playing in a lightbox, I need something like YouTube, where the video is on the left and thumbnails on the right.

Any clues?

Hi Husain

did you consider having a section called videos?

Within it you can have article images linked to articles and each article is a video.

The section list of the videos section could be just article images

the individual article could consist of a video and a number of article images linking to other individual articles…

Hi Yiannis,

I actually did have that line of thought initially, but since I need to have the videos published along with an article’s body, I wasn’t so sure if this approach would make it work. Plus, the switch to the videos would happen on the same page, so I got wondering if Textpattern can output a playlist with FlowPlayer, per article.

What do you think?
