Sticky are for static section in (sort of) another sense. When you have a section per page (section work, section client etc on different pages) you may want an introductory text (explaining what you do, what client you work for, etc) and then a list of all your works/client/blog post… In that case, sticky could be used for the introductory text and normal (live) articles for the work/client listing. Sticky articles are not returned in the list of your live articles, so you need 2 different article tags in that scenario.
In your case, if I understand your needs, you could put in some part of the page a sticky article and in other lives, in others sticky + articles. It only depends on how you code the article tag and how you update any single section.
PS: You told me/us you’re in Trieste on your site! As I’m just 25 km west from there, it catched my attention! :) Windy, these days, hm?
