A question re:czg_if_comment_cookies

So I’ve been working with Rob Sable’s classic Textpattern Comments Tutorial. I expected it to be problematic to implement after 6 years, and I can say I wasn’t disappointed. But I did run across something I haven’t found an answer for.

The tutorial uses czg_if_comment_cookies to provide some logic statements. Unsurprisingly, the original link has departed and the later backup links are broken as well. But I note at the top of the forum thread this statement:

Notice: This thread is archived, this functionality is available with current txp versions.

I can’t seem to verify that anywhere. I looked through the tags available now and I don’t see something that provides similar functionality. Anyone have a suggestion?

Re: A question re:czg_if_comment_cookies

I think this ought to be the comment_remember tag.

In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

Thanks, Uli. I didn’t notice that among all the other tags. Now to see how it actually works.
