Ecommerce and textpattern
Need to set up a payments page on a site powered by txp to allow visitors to signup and make a payment for attending events. Has anyone had any experience with doing this?

I always think it’s better to go with a third-party app that you can embed or integrate into your site. There’s quite a few event / registration / payment sites. You’ll find a few here: http://emilychang.com/ehub/?s=event
They offer different pricing models and levels of service and integration.
