Admin themes and multi-site option A

I’m not really sure how it is supposed to work but when I follow the instructions for multi-site option A, my admin themes are listed as options in prefs but until I delete the “theme” file and replace it with the “theme” directory from the “textpattern” directory I only have black text (blue hyperlinks, red visited :P) on white page.

I guess what I’m wondering is if this is normal or if there is something wrong with my setup?

Will I have similar problems with other redirect files (“admin” or “txp_img”) like the “themes” file?

Are there any good resources explaining how the Multi-Site functions work and what is going on or is it just a read the code and learn type thing?

I see how nice something like this is but its pretty aggravating to setup and understand at this point, I want my plugins to be compatible but I can’t really figure out how to do it since I only understand about half of what the feature is doing.

PS Sorry, for posting hear, I was trying to move this to another section related to plugins but I hit the “enter” key when my cursor was not in the text-area, please move it to another area if you want to make it more appropriate ;)
