Override forms
Hi Experts
I am trying to apply custom forms for various articles.
In the documentation for textpattern it says that I can do so in the “write” tab under “advanced options”. However, such an option does not appear here!!! (but I think it did when I used textpattern a couple of years ago. Has it been removed?)
Also when I try to apply a custom form via <txp:article form=“xxxxx” /> nothing happens and the default article form is used.
I am using textpattern 4.3.0 running locally in webkit and mozilla based browsers.
What could be the problem here?
Thanks in advance

Just out of curiosity, is the option Allow form override in your Advanced Prefs switched on?

Hmm, that I don’t know much about. It should just work. Hopefully someone else will be able to shed some light on this one as I can’t think of a reason why your form would be ignored. Does it work of you use the article tag as a container?

Re: Override forms
These two in a combo looks like you turned off the relevant pref.
Edit: Stef was faster :)

Re: Override forms
Hey, you guys were right.
I thought there might be a preference for this but I couldn’t find it.
I am using Danish textpattern and the translation of “Allow form override” to “Tillad tilsidesat forms” didn’t make much sense to me. But now I know what it is supposed to mean.
A better translation would be “Tillad at tilsidesætte forme” :-)
Thanks for the help.

Done. Just update your language file. Thanks!
