Can upload images in Firefox but not Safari on OS X

I’ve been redeveloping my website from WordPress to Textpattern. So far everything has gone very well, except I can only upload images using Firefox. When using Safari, it sits on “Contacting site…” after pressing Upload. Is this a known issue, and how can I provide any needed details? Uploading files works fine in either browser.

TXP 4.3.0, OS X 10.6.6, Safari 5.0.3, Firefox 3.6.13.

Any ideas appreciated!

This sometimes happens to me, using Safari or OmniWeb (both are based on WebKit). I find that stopping the request (command – dot) and then reloading always gets the upload to go through. Annoying, yes.

Aah, so I’m not alone with that problem. It usually happens to me with images (files too) that are a bit larger (tho’ not huge).

Thanks Jeff. I uploaded a few more images last night in Safari without any problems. I’ll definitely keep this in mind if it happens again!
