.htaccess redirect from weird page to normal
Hello to txp forum members!
Playing with Joomla I noticed that it worked a miracle having created weird page like this http://www.www.domvcanade.ru/news/17-news/69-skolko-stoit-dom-v-canade . Does anybody have an idea how to redirect this strange page to the straight http://www.domvcanade.ru/news/17-news/69-skolko-stoit-dom-v-canade ? I feel like mode_rewrite is the cure but what exactly…?

Well, .htaccess is .htaccess everywhere. I am not a joomla fan, and since i am registered at this forum, may be, somebody knows .htaccess rules for this. if not, that’s ok.

Sorry, I don’t know how to do it, but it looks to me that you entered one ‘www’ too many somewhere in your settings, and .htaccess is not the place to solve it… And for Joomla settings a Joomla forum is probably a better place to ask ;)

ok, thanx anyway, seems to me it is easier for me to move that site to TxP rather than to meditate on how to reform joomla.
