You saying the new change page-by form isn’t working in images?

Okay, now I can see this. It is working, but it doesn’t make image-handling so much easier: A simple image-search on this page would be perfect! One could serach for image-name, Alt-Tag and Description.

Another idea: Put the Textile Tag for an image that I just got uploaded into that “Status Bar”, which now only says: “Image succcesfully uploaded”.

Re: 1.0rc1 Released

Dean – the tweaks to the admin interface are excellent. Its so much easier to navigate older entries and find drafts. The layout of the interface doesn’t go super-wide anymore either. Great stuff.

Re: 1.0rc1 Released

Excuse me, but one feature just caught my eye…

Are you telling us that there will infact be pie? Or are the rumors of the existence of pie greatly exaggerated?

Oh, installed and works like a charm. Well worth the wait.

Re: 1.0rc1 Released

Now that I have it running on my local host: it looks GOOOOD !

Most of my little tweaking works fine, interface is nicely improved.

Update – my little improvement to use an unordered list for the Textpattern tabs still works fine

Re: 1.0rc1 Released

Using Firefox, I am unable to find a pie tab. Are they hidden in the closet or the cupboard?

Re: 1.0rc1 Released

For those who may be wondering: Textpattern v1.0rc1 works on PHP5. There may be a few warnings/notices if you have error reporting set to E_ALL, but otherwise everything (all the stuff I’ve tested) works as expected.

Now there’s your problem… Firefox. You need to be using a browser with lots of holes so as the pie can fit through ; )

Nice update Dean. Went slick as a whistle.

Separating articles and write… nice. Makes sense.
The article search is sweet.
Recent articles under the /write/ tab is brilliant.

Re: 1.0rc1 Released

Though I’ve written on the web for several years now, I consider myself a newbie when it comes to XHTML, CSS and the behind-the-scenes components of weblog tools.

The upgrade on TextDrive of my Textpattern installation went flawlessly. I’m looking forward to learning more about how to style a weblog and get my stuff moved over to this tool!

For other newbies, I’d suggest you go to the download site and simply follow the instructions provided!
