On the Textpattern sites that I run, I see a lot of traffic from the Far East (Japan, South Korea & China).

Rather low activity on site (still says about 4.0.5 versions. Forum is better but isn’t perfect – max 3-5 active pro users which can help :(

Heh, same on every site I have, and 99.9% of Chinese visitors are bots and spammers, taking care of almost all of the spam we get :-)

Yeah you’re going to have bots and spammers coming from everywhere, but I see is an emergence of the Far East market. When I was involved with Nucleus CMS, I saw a huge growth in the Japanese market. I actually think it’s a better market for small projects like Textpattern, because individuals are more technically advanced than those in the Western World. And we all know that Textpattern leans towards people who are more tech savvy that would rather run their own sites rather than create a Facebook page.
