Textpattern Search
TXPers:
I just want to make sure I am not misisng anything before I go looking outside the box for a solution. I have the need for an expanded textpattern serach that would not only include article titles adn body, but also include file titels and description. From what I can tell, the current search ability (4.2) does not offer this functionality. Am I correct?
Has anyone had any experience in incorporating either Google internal search or another mechanism to achieve such a result?
Thanks in advance.

Inserted google search – it is very simple – just place google’s code where you want to show search results and don’t forget to place google’s search form. That’s it! Google’s search instructions are pretty clear

No, though wet_haystack makes it possible to search more article fields than just body and title, it only searches the textpattern table (i.e. only articles).
