Re: Three sites
Nice work! Thanks for sharing.
I liked the first one most of all, really nice effects with JavaScript. The little map is great. Did they have a higher budget than the other two clients? :) (I’m also curious how these clients like the TXP admin, or if they use it)

Re: Three sites
Thanks Marc. The first was the indeed biggest project (as in budget/work involved).
All have a completely customized admin through the use of a theme and plugins. They like it very much.

Re: Three sites
If I were Cycloon I’d miss some speed in the header images, a speed you’ve implemented very well, however, in the JS effect during topic changes on Diensten & Tarieven.
My favorite is “Nu in Zwolle”: reduction, type, colors, grid. Love it.
It has one or two problems, though, on not so tall screens, i.e. about 1350 and below: The banners are cut off, and in sidebar-1 the article titles wrap below the light grey dates. You could probably keep them separated with the following lines (and if you abandoned the widow option in the prefs ):
a.art .time {
color: #BBBBBB;
float: left;
padding-bottom: 0.01em;
padding-right: 7px;
}
a.art {
float: left;
}
Would need further testing.
In bad weather I never leave home without wet_plugout, smd_where_used and adi_form_links

Re: Three sites
Thanks Uli.
Cycloon header images will get cleaned up with a preloader next week.
Thanks for the css on nuinzwolle. Works on Firefox…not on Chrome/IE. I was figuring out the wrapping problem late last night but my brain was totally fried by then. That one is an internal project for our company and very much a work in progess. I will get around fixing the layout problems/banners clipping and some other messy stuff next week.
Thanks again for the compliments and the css.
