Gainesville Country Day School

Launched this today at the day job
http://www.gainesvillecountrydayschool.org

I’m especially pleased with the smd_calendar implementation

Yes, very clear and clean execution and yet nice and personal. A delight to browse and read. You did put lots of effort and attention to detail into that calendar and both views are eminently readable. Also love the various date implementations at different sizes.

Only chanced across one or two really really minor things, the calendar image on this page still points to the dev version and perhaps the “plus” close button on the overlay sends mixed messages, although it matches the others nicely.

Amazing work, I really love what you’ve done with smd_calendar. I’ll be looking to do something very simular in an upcoming project.

Holy moly, that’s awesome. The platinum standard by which all calendars will henceforth be compared. Hats off to you for taming the smd_calendar beast into something so functional and eye-catching…. and just in time for me to destroy all your good work with a new version :-) Ironing the (many) kinks out with JanDW and mrdale’s help.

Again, I salute your web-making genius.

Re: Gainesville Country Day School

Thanks all. Your kind words mean a lot.

Jakob – nice catches – both the link and the plus sign (instead of an x) are oversights. Your thoroughness is much appreciated.

Bloke – can’t wait to check out the new version – I’m a smd_calendar addict. :P

Re: Gainesville Country Day School

That is a really top notch site, guitar man. Your calendar is like the 3.0 version of what I’m doing here: fraser woods

I really think you’ve done an outstanding job, all around. But the cookies on the calendar are something I might need to quiz you about.

Really Excellent work. Help yourself to a vigorous round of applause.

Re: Gainesville Country Day School

Dale, Thanks mate.
That’s some good work you’ve got there yourself.

Funny the we are both working on school sites.
You know where to find me when you want to bake some cookies.
