Re: Creating Unique Section Landing Page -- How?

Jeff I am sure you know your code and it looks pretty slim. Still I wouldn’t point people directly towards a plug-in.

For the life of me, I can’t figure out how to prevent the article list from displaying, while showing the grid I’ve designed. I know I need to use an if/else statement, but which one? There is no “if_section_landing_page” tag!

Sorry, but the main point in #1 is that Josh is asking how to get rid of that article list.

I’m not an “anti-plugin fanboy” ;)

And the way to do that is, whether with core or plugin, set up the right conditional. As he had noted, “There is no “if_section_landing_page” tag!” Use the right tool for the job. When you need to treat all the cases in Els’s code separately, that’s the answer. Otherwise, it is Txp tag soup and a maintenance and debugging headache.

/me dreams of a landingform attribute for <txp:article />

(short of that, Jeff’s plugin is the way to go!)

Point taken. And I appreciate the pg attribute (and Multidoc etc.).

Well, then we have a feature request for TXPs future … waiting for the specification :)
