Considering moving from wordpress

Hi, I have been running a blog for two years in wordpress ( http://sabiavida.com ). Recently I’ve stopped that project because I want to become a writer and focus on that, using a blog to showcase my work, document my journey into becoming a professional and all that.

I love plain, simple designs, with great typography, fast loading pages and as little clutter as possible.

Would it be a smart move for me? Or should I stick to wordpress.

And btw, I plan to publish mostly in Spanish.

Re: Considering moving from wordpress

Miguel, if plain and simple design is what you are looking for, then TXP is a very good choice as you will have total control over the HTML and CSS of your site’s design.

It might take you slightly longer to get TXP to do what you want it to do (since you may have to learn some TXP tags) but everyone here is happy to help if you encounter any trouble!
