Determine category order

Hey all — I know I can sort a category list by ID, name, title, etc., but none of these produce the order I need. Is there any plugin (I’ve searched around a bit already) that allows you to manipulate the category order? I’m guessing it would require adding a new field to the category table…?

You could use the categories attribute. Far from ideal, but expedient in a pinch.

There is a section sort plugin. Maybe you can ask the author to adapt it to categories as well (or do it yourself).

I’ll take a look at that plugin…I think article/section/category sort order is something that comes up a lot for many TXP developers. Perhaps I’ll put in a feature request.
