Flash powered by Txp

As I’ve mention 1000 times, Txp is really perfect as Flash CMS. And specially for sites like this one…

www.vitraz.rs

Project is still not 100% finished (currently working on SEO) and I’m really interested what do you think about it.

I’ve also redesign Txp backend to get look’n‘feel of rest design. It can be seen on my portfolio (images 1, 2 and 3).
Code is little bit “dirty” to share, but if someone is interested, just get me a mail and I’ll send you files and design.

I must say that client really love Txp and he really enjoyed creating articles, organizing content and playing with images (untill now, more than 1300 of them!). I didn’t even need to make any help video or help pdf as I usually do. I’ve only gave him some small explanation with one phone call and he get it!

To manage images I’ve used SLIR and as you can see it’s perfectly capable to deliver a lot of images with great speed.

If someone’s interested in connecting Flash and Txp or similar, or anything about this project, feel free to ask.

Love the glass site Gile. Absolutely gorgeous and I’m not a big fan of most Flash sites. Have to say that I’m liking Subhaus as well.

Those Txp back-end images look intriguing. I’d would definitely be interested in looking at that in detail if you wouldn’t mind.

Well done ! I stayed for minutes and minutes, and that’s pretty a rare thing :)
Just … maybe the site could be switched in live mode instead of debugging :p

Re: Flash powered by Txp

Maybe you could write a TxpTip to help others get started with something like this?

My Plugins

Piwik Dashboard, Google Analytics Dashboard, Minibar, Article Image Colorpicker, Admin Datepicker, Admin Google Map, Admin Colorpicker

Really nice website. And the work this company does is beautiful.
When I was a child, I fantasized about learning vitraux.

Congratulations!

Re: Flash powered by Txp

Thanks guys! I really appreciate your opinion.

TxpTips? Man, I’ve totally forgot about that. Currently, I’m planning video tutorial on using Flash+Txp+SLIR, but I could also write some small tip on making simple flash gallery + rah_external_output.

I realise some people don’t like flash, but that’s because many “designers” are using it on a wrong way. First and most important thing is CONTENT, and effects and stuff shouldn’t be dominant over it. It’s really funny to play with flash, but one should have on mind sites audience. Effects should serve content, not the oposite, just like Flash should be a tool and not religion ;)

That’s probably why with years I’ve became more and more oriented on minimalism in design.

@maniqui – yeah… there really is something magical in vitraux, isn’t it…

Gile, any tips you write will be welcome and helpful, and don’t forget we also have a video tutorial section on TXP Tips now.
