Re: BOUNTY - TXP front end LogIn/Register/User groups
Any news on this or a similar plugin? I am running more and more on the need of a user side that is different from the admin side, to post and upload images.

If you don’t need self registration you can easily achieve this using bot_privs and letting the user access only the “image” tab

Re: BOUNTY - TXP front end LogIn/Register/User groups
Hi. I’m wondering if Nemaja’s request for a registration plugin has ever taken off. I’m finding that many of my clients now want to be able to set up registration, with profiles, of their members who will then be able to access the website. I understand that WordPress makes it pretty much standard. But, I like Textpattern. It’s the most designer-friendly CMS I’ve worded with so far. In short, has anyone created a solution to this?

Re: BOUNTY - TXP front end LogIn/Register/User groups
Part of the problem will be that everyone’s needs are so different. For example, I want front-end login but no self-registration, with extended fields for each user. I also want to be able to send emails to lists of the different users, depending on different categories.
I think we can achieve most of this through ign_password_protect
, mem_self_register
and mem_simple_form
. What would be great is if someone could post a tutorial (TXPTips?) of how they have managed to tie everything together.
I would, but I’m not quite there yet (still struggling with user-generated password resets, simple mailing lists using a modified form of zem_contact_reborn
)…

There’s $200 from Sustainable Solutions if this sees the light of day.
Cheers,
