Re: database crash
Incidentally……..is this ‘repair table’ command the same operation you find in rss_admin_db_manager? If so, that reassures me a little because I’ve used that many times – and it worked perfectly OK (or seemed to).

Re: database crash
My host ran a repair command and its now resolved. Phew.
They advised me that Texpattern had crashed, which blocked phpMyAdmin from recognising the database.

Not out of the question, though less likely on the admin side as you describe your situation. Any interesting admin-side plugins on this site?

Re: database crash
Possibly, but what they said is Textpattern had crashed – though the txp error message said the table had crashed and it was correct.
I’ve got a few admin plug ins but nothing major, I think. Been running this txp installation for a long time now and I’ve never experienced this before.
