Extremely basic implementation question from a CMS noob
Hi, I was wondering if I could implement Textpattern into my website on a very minimal basis. I just want textpattern to store and call articles on the front page of my site, under the News and Latest Updates section.
To illustrate what I want my website is;
www.nclgolf.co.uk user: admin pass: shank123
You can see the “News and Latest Updates section” where there is one article already. This is where I would like Textpattern to be “nested”. Is it possible to implement Textpattern without having to go back and do everything through TP?
Any suggestions? Thanks for any help in advance.

A hybrid site is easy to do. Txp only springs into action for the home page (of the Txp installation, which can be in a subdirectory if you want) and when the user enters a URL that does not match an existing file on the web server.
There’s certainly some extra work involved keeping the Txp and non-Txp parts of the sites unified and in sync, but again it’s very doable.
Code is topiary
