[textile] Can I have table columns with textile?
I need to table columns in textile, does anyone know if it can be done? I’m talking specifically about:
<table>
<col />
<col />
<tr>
<td>First TD of first TR</td>
<td>Second TD of first TR</td>
<td>Third TD of first TR</td>
<td>Fourth TD of first TR</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>First TD of second TR</td>
<td>Second TD of second TR</td>
<td>Third TD of second TR</td>
<td>Fourth TD of second TR</td>
</tr>
</table>I would like to add a class to these columns too….

Not yet but the next version of Textile (written, done, dusted, just needs acceptance testing) has support for:
- column groups (with classes)
- thead, tbody, tfoot groups (with classes)
- summary
- caption
For now you’ll have to either do the column grouping by hand or request a copy of the new classTextile.php file; it’s not on general release yet while it’s being tested.
