Matt, thanks for the plugin update.
I have the same issue as @Nico – tried different browsers

Arg, sorry guys.
I spent some time looking at this today and haven’t been able to narrow it down. I’ll have to install vanilla 4.2 Textpattern but not sure when I’ll have time. In my 4.0.8 (r3269)
install I had available it will work and then stop working when I refresh the page. Since the error is in Google’s code it’s difficult to debug.

Please try version 2.0.1 and let me know if you are still seeing the issue with the Lookup.
Thanks!

Re: msd_google_map: Easily associate a location with your articles
Thank you.
I’ve just tried v. 2.0.1
Same problem, but even the default cordinates map isn’t showing now.
My browser is Firefox 3.6.6 on Mac OS X 10.5.8 (100% up to date)
I mut admit that the textpattern install is not vanilla but I tried with all plugins disabled (except yours of course).
Could it be a Mac OS only issue ?

OK, I see…
When I’m logged without “www.” I can’t see the default map.
When I’m logged with the same URL than the one set in Preferences I can.
But in both cases, I cant use the Lookup.
…
But I think I have to test again with no other plugin activated AND the www URL to be completely sure of that.

Nothing better : it’s not a plugin conflict.

Sorry Nico, Can you try changing line 252 from var debug=true;
to var debug=false;
? I forgot to change that before publishing. You could also redownload and reinstall the plugin.

— Sorry for the delay. I wrote an answer the day after your message but I see now I’d probably forgotten to submit… —
I did that and it works fine ! Everything is OK for me now.
Thank you Matt.

Re: msd_google_map: Easily associate a location with your articles
I am having a problem with the 2.0.2 version of msd_google_map. On the Write page, the toggle links for Textile Help, Advanced Options, Recent Articles and More don’t work*. I’m not sure if it is a plugin conflict or something else. I had bot_write_tab_customize installed and active so I turned it off to see it if was conflicting. Actually, I completely uninstalled and deleted it and deactivated all other plugins except for msd_google_map. The toggles only work again when I deactivate msd_google_map.
I am using version 1.8 on a different TXP 4.2.0 site with all of the same plugins installed and active without problems.
I’m wondering if it’s a style sheet or javascript issue between version 2.0.2 and the textpattern admin area, but I don’t see anyone else with this problem. Any ideas or suggestions? Thx
*if the content was displaying prior to activating the plugin, then it will remain in view and not toggle hidden and vice versa. It behaves the same way regardless of template (classic or remora). The map + toggle link does work when msd_google_map is active. Also, I’ve tried it on Firefox and Chrome on my Mac.

I see the same issue on 4.2.0 (r3275)
. I’ll try to debug it as soon as I have time.
