rei_recent_comments

Hello,

on my site “rei_recent_comments” shows two additional <p></p>-Tags, which shouldn’t be there
I can’t find out, where they came from, but I need to fix it to get my site valid.

The source code looks like this
<li> <p> <p>related off welcome to your site</p> </p> <a href="/index.php?id=1#c000019"><span>says</span> Paul </a> </li>

My TXP-Code looks like:
<txp:rei_recent_comments showcomment="yes" maxwords="20" limit="5" />

Does anybody know, where these additional two <p>-Tags come from?

PS: In the plugin code I deleted the title, because I wanted to only show the comment and the author.

Re: rei_recent_comments

Hi fantasmo,

rei_recent_comments is no longer supported. wet_recent_comments is its replacement.

Also, should you wish to stick with the old plugin can you please give us a url and the snippet of code you are using in the page where the plugin is used?

Re: rei_recent_comments

Hi colak,

thank you very much for your response.
Now I tried wet_recent_comments…that worked fine.

I made it fit my layout needs by editing the plugin code..I believe it’s not possible to switch on and off parts of the comments by using an attribute??! This would be a great feature so that I can deside if I want my comments with title or without, or with author or without a.s.o.

Re: rei_recent_comments

Hi fantasmo… I think you can do all of the above. Check plugin’s help. Posting on its thread though will prompt a response from Robert who authored the plugin or from the community of people who are using it.
