Inserting an image while editing/writing an article
Is it just me or does the current interface seem a bit backwards when it comes to image management. I would need to upload an image first and then go to the Write Article interface to write content and then upload the image. Whereas a CMS like Wordpress allows you to upload the image while you are simultaneously creating content.
Thoughts? A way around this?

There are a few plugins that solve this. One is bot_image_upload.
Piwik Dashboard, Google Analytics Dashboard, Minibar, Article Image Colorpicker, Admin Datepicker, Admin Google Map, Admin Colorpicker

I show clients how to keep the Images and Write tabs open simultaneously in two browser tabs – can be done with a single bookmark. They do the uploading, captioning, resizing first, then switch to the Write tab and use e.g. jmd_img_selector to place the image.

upm_img_popper lets you choose an image from the write screen.
Edit: oops, sorry, didn’t read well… you’d still need to upload the image first.

As Matt says, redbot’s bot_image_upload plugin (which is still under development) is a great way of achieving this. It pulls the image content tab into the write screen so that you can upload and select an image for use with your article.
