[mention] Facebook page, updated a teensy bit
First, they’ve finally relaxed the rules enough that I was able to get a vanity url for it:
http://www.facebook.com/textpattern
(the previous url had a bunch of non-memorable numbers in it).
Also, I’ve just added the “Reviews” app to the page.
Are any of the current devs on Fb? At present none of them are admins of the page, and they should be, if possible.
(By the way, to respond to the criticism about the page directing folks to the forum when they have questions: not only is the Fb wall a terrible place to provide one-on-one support, it’s also only checked occasionally, so folks were actually getting completely overlooked and not directed appropriately. And the Fb forum software seems to be just a needless duplication when there’s already an existing one easily accessible.)

Hi Mary, nice! Where is the Fb page directing to the forum? I don’t see a link to the forum anywhere.

The one link that was there, I decided to try and re-word it. And I;m just adding it again to the Links section as well.

I also just added Txp Tips to the Links section. Is there anything else I’m forgetting? (Likely)

i have left facebook on their last privacy disaster (the opt-out saga). Case closed forever, from my POV.

Super noob and probably annoying question: how do you do that? <—- given yours is a “page” and not a group.
Oh, just “liked” TXP, by the way. XD

Yep, that’s correct.
They used to have a larger minimum of fans before you could qualify, but you only need to have 25 now.

Well, either one of the other page admins has already fixed it (?) or I need those new glasses more than I thought, as I can’t find where you’re talking about. So if it is still there, please elaborate on where I can find the typo.
