Write screen displays 'Last modified by' when publishing new article
I have a weird issue where after publishing a new article it takes about 10 minutes before it will show up in an article listing. I can view the article just fine by clicking the “view” link though. I’m using 4.0.8.

Check if you have any cache plugin installed in “Admin -> Plugins”.
Some popular cache plugins for TXP are asy_jpcache, zem_cache, aks_cache.

It’s got to be cacheing somewhere, maybe on your server or are you going through a proxy that is cacheing.

Site is hosted on Dreamhost. No idea where to check to see if any sort of caching is happening.

I get sometime such problems on Dreamhost.
Corrected if I modify the date of article (in the past).
Seems a time problem (on Dreamhost ? on a particular PC ?)

I am still having this issue and just saw that when I create a new article a post date and last modified date are created with the last modified date 16 minutes before the post date. What could be causing this?

I once was on a server that was 25 minutes ahead of the actual time… What does Diagnostics say about the Server Local Time? If it’s a server issue you could change your time zone preferences.

Diagnostics says Server Local Time: 2010-06-08 12:07:23
I am in the central time zone so my time is 2:07pm. Changing it affects both so the modified date is still behind the post date.

Does it show ‘Last modified by’ even when you save a new article for the first time? It doesn’t on my installs.
