sometimes the plugin throws the error: A feed could not be found at…
but if i go to the feed i see it’s a live page. is there a conditional for when this happens to deactivate the plugin and not throw the error?

I’ve seen the error too. Not sure what causes it, but after some reseach, I think it’s addressed in newer versions of SimplePie library. Hopefully, makss could find the time to update the plugin to use latest version of SimplePie. :)

is there another plugin you recommend in the meantime? there was a simplepie plugin but i couldn’t even get that activated. i am thinking of using something like YQL now.

Hello guys.
i want to use, but i get an error;
when i use <txp:aks_rss feed=“something.xml”> i get an error in same place, where i want to view output:
The form for aks_rss could not be found
when i use inline (<txp:aks_rss> something.xml </txp:aks_rss>) i get error in head:
Ошибка тега: <txp:aks_rss> -> Warning: file_get_contents(http:) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory on line 7853
file_get_contents could not read the file
Simplepie plugin for txp dont work for me at all, only errors.
i use simplepie version which is incliuded to pack of this plugin, also i tried last vers. of simplepie. NOTHING!
pls help!

Does the feed validate? Check here

I did a temporary test with SimplePie Plugin 1.2.2.
I hope you can see the article preview:
<txp:feed>http://www.workpermit.com/files/immigration_workpermit_news_rss_feed.xml</txp:feed>(edit: deactivated link) test (saved as draft, will be deleted again)
Result: The SimplePie plug-in doesn’t throw errors.
Can somebody validate the test with aks_rss?

u mean official plugin for of simplepie for txp?
plugin doesnt work for me at all, show errors.
maybe reinstall helps?

in which article? i use it on my page. But also i turned off textile from settings.
i used in tag, but doesnt help. like that: <txp:aks_rss feed==“http://www.workpermit.com/files/immigration_workpermit_news_rss_feed.xml” />
