I have done a search but cannot find the forum topic for css_rating plugin.

I’m getting this error:

Tag error: <txp:css_rating_bar /> ->  Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource  on line 297

Tag error: <txp:css_rating_bar /> ->  Textpattern Warning: Duplicate entry '4' for key 1
insert into driz_txp_ratings set id='4',total_votes=1, total_value='7', used_ips=''  on line 82

Any ideas what the problem is and how to fix it?

Anyone got any ideas? I’ve been playing around in phpMyAdmin to see if I can find any problems but no luck so far :/

I don’t think there is a forum for this plugin. Did you try contacting the plugin author or posting to the plugin’s home page?

And there are two newer rating plugins in case you are unable get this one working

(see – I’m totally not helpful :) )

tcm_rating and wlk_helpful are both from 2008.

tmc_rating is from 2004. It’s outdated and no longer maintained plugin. Also it is just archived on Textpattern.org.

jmd_rate on other hand is from 2008

Thank you for the correction. re: tmc_rating, I glanced at the “article modified date” and saw it was 2008 and failed to verify its actual status.

I thought jmd had one, but wasn’t finding it to refer driz to it.

Hello,

I get the error

Tag error: <txp:css_rating_bar units=“5” /> -> Warning: mysql_num_rows() expects parameter 1 to be resource, array given on line 300

can somebdoy please help me to fix that?

I put the tag <txp:css_rating_bar units=“5” /> in the Form “default” which displays the articles.
And I run my TXP-Installation on a database with table-prefixes, because I need the prefix to run different TXP-Installations with one database

Another Problem is, it seems like it shows the same rating for every article, but I thought putting it into the default-article-form would create an individual ratiing bar for each article.

EDIT: When I reload the page it I get a further error

Can’t somebody help please?
I really can’t fix it… i don’t even know if the problem is because I use table-prefixes, or because I might have installed it wrong somehow?!
