Looking for Plugin Recommendations

Hello,

i could have posted it into “Plugin Requests” but i think, that wouldn’t really have fit in there.

I’m new to textpattern and I’m looking for some suggestions on alternatives for the following Wordpress-Plugins:

1. author highlight
2. most commented
3. share this
4. wp-postrating
5. related posts
6. vipers video quicktags
7. nextgen gallery AND voting AND sidebar widget
8. wp touch iphone theme

I searched the TXP-Plugin-Ressource and already found some alternatives. Please tell me which plugins might also be good for that purpose (because of the sometimes very strange names, i believe i have not found all the good ones).
1. (i found a note, which says, that is already in comments.php?!)
2. (didn’t found a plugin)
3. Iam_addthis, cab_social
4. tcm_rating, gwd_bx_rating
5. chh_related_articles, txp:related_articles (<—already in Textpattern by default?!)
6. arc_youtube
7. (did not yet check the picture galleries, so i don’t know if theres a picture-rating-plugin in or a picture/gallery-sidebar-rotation-widget)
8. act_if_mobile (seems to be a stylesheet switcher?!… please let me know if there are other great plugins to turn a ordinary textpattern blog in to a mobile site)
