[resolved] [Solved] Categories not showing up after entry…
I’m on localhost and everything seems to be working fine. The pre-flight check passes with no errors…
I’ve reinstalled TXP to no avail.
However, when I add a category I get the “Article category X created.” success message, but upon Refresh the category does not show up under the Article categories. Nor does it show up when editing an article (the dropdown category chooser).
The database shows that they were successfully added (in phpMyAdmin).
I’m using rss_unlimited_categories and the categories don’t show up under “Categorize” either…
Any ideas?

The first link helped me out and I got it solved. No idea how that could have happened…thanks so much for the links! My search-fu is not strong today, I see.
For posterity’s sake:
I took a look at the SQL of another Textpattern site that I’ve done and exported the txp_category table. Turns out I was missing the “root” stuff in my screwed up database. I imported the txp_category from the working site and it set it all up nicely and now works perfectly.
