would it be possible to give a different id to “file upload” and “file replace” inputs

Yes, probably. I’ll look at it during my next scheduled admin side tinkering.

Thanks Bloke. BTW while writing some plugins in the past I found some other things that could be “fixed”.
I’ll post them in a few days as I’ll have some work-free time.

OT: Cool, drop me an e-mail with them in. Chances are I’ve already addressed them in my latest dev copy, but I may well have missed some stuff so it’s good to get another viewpoint.

Re: Improve Files help

Hi Bloke,
just out of curiosity, did you receive the mail I sent you some days after? Nothing essential actually, just wanted to know as I’m not sure all emails sent through the forum are received.

Yes thanks. Sorry, did I not reply? How slack of me.

I’ve taken the Files tab ones on board and have addressed them in my admin side meddling (revealed soon with luck). The one about the Category tab is harder to fix because of the fact there are 4 of the same things on that page so I can’t simply use a <label> without first changing all the names of the input controls to be unique. That’s a bit trickier given the fact the code’s been refactored to make it output very similar markup for each type of category. If I can find a way round it I will. Sorry again for not replying sooner.

Hey no problem ;)
Actually – speaking of slakers – I don’t seem to be able to find the message I sent you so , ehm… I fear I forgot what I precisely wrote.
Anyway I’m sure you have pondered rightly what can be done. Thank you for having taken it into consideration.
