Touble with rah_sitemap and gbp_permanent_links

http://www.thebestcabinetsite.com/finishes/paints/white-kitchen-cabinet-doors/ is an article I have up. My sitemap is here: http://www.thebestcabinetsite.com/?rah_sitemap=sitemap and I see no mention of that article in it. Further, I see all sorts of entries like http://www.thebestcabinetsite.com/category/paints/ . I haven’t dug into it too deep yet, but is seems that there is such an entry in my sitemap for every category. Going to such a link just brings me to my home page.

Before I lose hair trying to fix it, does anyone know if these two plugins are even compatible? Should I go back and make each of my categories a section instead, and just ditch the gbp plugin? I was kind of hoping to have a paint and stain category, and that each of those would be a child of the finishes section, at least as far as url goes.

Re: Touble with rah_sitemap and gbp_permanent_links

Rah_sitemap will output permlink schemes that TXP’s core tells it to do. Therefor, your frontend URLs that are generated and rewritten by a plugin, in this instance gbp_permanent_links, won’t be directly supported.

If required, rah_sitemap’s permlink rules can possibly be customized to match actual permlinks by using rah_sitemap’s URI settings which allow use of <txp:tags /> in URIs — at least tags that are not context sensitive. Default permlinks will only support what TXP’s core supports.

Rah_sitemap’s preferences can be found under TXP/Extensions/Sitemap.
