Re: MLP: The Next Generation

MLP 0.9.13 is indeed the version you need to use with Txp 4.2.0. Until TXP Forge is up again, you can download it here. (Edit: site is up, link removed.)

It seems txpforge.org is down…i am getting 503’s for the last three days…is there any way to acquire a copy of MLP 0.9.13 (if that is the latest version compatible to TXP 4.2.0) at the moment?

Seems the boot action on the server has gone missing :-/

I can’t seem to recreate it so I’ve started the site again manually.

Re: MLP: The Next Generation

Hi!

TXP Forge seems to be down again. Is mlp-0.9.13-gp available anywhere else?

Re: MLP: The Next Generation

Does this latest version of MLP support sub-directory installs? I think it does but would like to check.

Second question – does MLP work on IIS servers? By default I don’t think IIS supports clean URL’s unless a module called ISAPI_Rewrite is installed. If it is not installed, would MLP work with messy URL’s?

Re: MLP: The Next Generation

Hi Jonathan, don’t know the answer to your second question (though I doubt it), but MLP doesn’t work in subdirectory installs. It does in subdomains though.

Re: MLP: The Next Generation

OK well let me re-phrase the question – I am testing an MLP install (plus a default TXP install) on a Windows IIS server for a client (its not my choice!) and so far only the default install works with messy URL’s.

The MLP install does not work with messy URL’s. I have asked Graeme to look into this and waiting for his feedback. Like most people, I have limited experience with Windows IIS

Re the sub-directory – let me explain: This has been placed outside the main domain i.e in site.com/test/ in order to test things out on the server before going live.
